Southern Wisconsin AirFEST Food & Beverage FAQ's
1. Is there food available?
Yes. A wide variety of food and drinks are available on the grounds and provided by AirFEST participating food and beverage vendors.
2. Can I bring food or beverages to the AirFEST?
No. Food and Beverages can not be brought onto the grounds. The exception is food for infants and water in limited quantities.
3. Are alcoholic beverages allowed?
Alcoholic beverages cannot be brought on or to airport grounds. AirFEST will have beer gardens on the grounds. Identification may be required. Children under 21 are not allowed unless accompanied by a parent or adult. You must remain within these designated areas areas with alcoholic beverages

Southern Wisconsin AirFEST Handicap Parking FAQ's
1. Is there handicap parking?
Yes. Handicap Parking is available on the airport grounds. Space is limited. Overflow will be parked in the VIP Parking area. Please display your state authorized handicap hanger while approaching the airport for access to the handicap ticket gate and parking area. Those requiring handicap parking should access the airport from Highway 51, turn onto Airport Road, signage and security personnel will direct you to the designated parking area. Buses or vehicles with trailers carrying special equipment may be required to park in the nearby VIP section. Parking is $5. It is free on Friday night.
2. Where should I enter for handicap admission?
From Highway 51, turn on Airport Road. Turn right on Atlantis Drive where AirFEST staff will direct you to the Handicap Parking Area located on the Airport Ramp. AirFEST tickets can be purchased at the Handicap Parking Gate. Be very carefull to NOT go to the wrong gate. You will be admitted at the "wrong" gate but you won't have access to the handicapped area parking from that entrance. To turn around from the wrong gate and proceed to the "right" gate will be very difficult and somewhat dangerous as you will have to drive against a lot of cars going the opposite direction. Read and follow the signs very carefully! There is no handicapped parking at the offsite locations.

Leaving The AirFEST
1. Can I leave the grounds and be readmitted from the parking area?
YES! But you MUST have your hand stamped for re-admission. If you leave the parking area you will be required to pay the parking fee again.
2. Are there any certain times I cannot leave AirFEST?
No, gates open at 9:00, and close at 5:00 p.m. - you may plan to arrive and leave at any time during that timeframe. Due to the high volume of traffic and logistics of the traffic flow, we do not recommend that you plan to leave the grounds and re-enter, unless necessary.
3. What if I leave during performances?
Vehicles leaving during performances may be redirected through a different exit.We may still have vehicles entering while you are trying to leave. We do not have provisions for two way traffic in most cases. If you want to go back to your car in offsite parking you may. Just go back to the Columbia gate and catch a bus back to where you are parked. Make sure you get on the correct bus!

Southern Wisconsin AirFEST Parking FAQ's
By Order of the Sheriff's Department, parking along Highway 51 is NOT permitted.
Entering, sitting, standing, or parking in areas and roads around the airport that are restricted is prohibited. The police will ticket offending vehicles.
1. Are there parking charges?
Yes. $5 per vehicle. Friday night is FREE. Offsite parking is free but there is a $2/person R/T charge for the shuttle bus. See our OFFSITE PARKING page for details.
2. Where is general admission parking located? The AirFEST general admission parking lot is located off Highway 51 and Enterprise Drive. We may have multiple entrance gate this year because of airport construction so check this site often for last minute details!
3. Is there a shuttle service from the parking lot to the airport grounds?
For those not desiring to walk the distance from parking to the main entrance, wagons (handicapped accessible) will be in place for transportation.
4. What if my car breaks down on the grounds?
Please notify AirFEST staff ASAP and provide your name and address. Vehicles must be removed from the grounds prior to the closing of AirFEST at 5:00 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday to avoid towing.
5. Is parking going to be a problem?
We have taken every precaution to make it run smoothly. We have plenty of parking spaces and staff in place to direct traffic. We are expecting attendance to be 30,000+ per day so please car pool and arrive early. We had lines a mile long the last time the "Blues" were here and waits up to 45 minutes. The gates open at 9am so come earlier than you normally come. We also have offsite parking available this year at two locations. Check out our information on offsite parking.
6. Can we sit in our cars in the parking lot and watch the show?
No. All spectators MUST go through show admissions and are subject to search. Once you have gone through admissions you can go back to your car. Remember to get your hand stamped should you desire to return to the AirFEST grounds. No food or beverages are allowed in the parking lot. Tailgating is prohibited.
7. Is there RV or motorcycle parking available?
RV or motorcycles will be parked in the general parking area.We make an attempt to park motorcyles on the hard surface runway that is inactive for the event.
8. Can I camp overnight at AirFEST?
No. There are strict county and airport restrictions against camping on airport property.
9. Will there be an FM radio channel to listen to announcements?
Yes! Tune to 88.9 on your car radio within a half mile of the airport for parking announcements and info.

1. Will there be a general public seating area?
Yes. A large general area seating on the flight line with a clear view is available. However, space is limited so we encourage you to arrive early.
2. Does the public seating area provide chairs?
No. Chairs are not provided, although chairs and blankets can be brought to AirFEST and are subject to search. The general admission public seating area is a grassy area. Bag chairs can be purchased during the show from a participating AirFEST vendor.
3. Can I sit on the airport ramp?
Yes. In unrestricted areas only. The FAA and the Airport Authority have strict guidelines and regulations we ALL must follow.
4. Will chairs be available on the grounds?
Yes. Bag chairs can be purchased from a participating AirFEST vendor during the airshow.

AirFest 09 Ticket FAQ's
1. Can I purchase tickets in advance of AirFEST?
YES. Absolutely! And by doing so you will SAVE $$$.
1. Order and Print your own tickets online through our website.
2. Purchase tickets directly at participating AirFEST outlets.
2. What is the last day to purchase online tickets?
Sunday May 31st. Online tickets are available right up to showtime on Sunday.
3. What is the last day to purchase advance tickets at participating AirFEST outlets?
Tickets are available at advance outlets right up until showtime (for those open on Sunday)
4. Can I purchase AirFEST tickets the day of the show?
YES. Absolutely! General Admission Tickets will be available at the main gate located on Highway 51 and Enterprise Drive.
a. Adults $15.00
b. Child $10.00 ( 6-12)
c. Children 5 and under are FREE! Parking is $5
For the Friday night show parking is free and the price at the gate is $20 per CARLOAD, $15 in advance (online only....NOT available at ticket outlets)
5. Are there FAMILY PACKS available?
YES. But only in ADVANCE! You can purchase these packages online through our website ONLY! They are NOT available through advance ticket outlets
a. Two Adults and Two Children $33.00, a saving of $21.00
b. Four Adults $44.00, a saving of $16
6. Are general admission tickets good for either day? How bout Friday night tickets on Sat/Sun?
YES. All General Admission tickets are good for either day! Rain or Shine!We will not accept Friday night tickets on Saturday or Sunday. Likewise, we will not accept Sat or Sun tickets on Friday night. Use the right ticket for the specified day only
Flight Line VIP tickets and the Private First Class tickets are for specific days.
7. Do you offer group or corporate discounts?
YES. Group discounts for 100 or more tickets are available, Adults $10 Children 6 - 12 $6
8. What is your policy on refunds?
The show will be held rain or shine! All Sales are final.
9. Do you have individual VIP flight line chalet seats available?
YES. Individual flight line chalet seating tickets are available for either Saturday or Sunday at a cost of $50. V.I.P. Flightline Chalet tickets are available online only. By purchasing online you will be able to print your own ticket, and a V.I.P. parking pass to access the grounds will be mailed to you
10. What does a VIP Ticket include?
Seating in the comfort of a Flightline Chalet in the VIP area, crew lunch, limited beverages and VIP Parking.
11. Where can I purchase Individual VIP Tickets?
Tickets are available ONLINE ONLY through Super Tickets (click on the Super Tickets logo to purchase) and must be purchased by midnight on Sunday May 24th.
12. Will I be able to upgrade my General Admission Ticket to a VIP ticket once I get to AirFEST?
Yes, we will have a upgrade option at AirFest this year. Look for the Booth by the VIP area. Your price will be the difference between Gen Admission and the VIP price, $35.
13. My online ticket didn't print or something screwed up. What do I do?
Call us immediately and we will note our records, print the ticket locally and mail it to you or arrange for you to pick it up. Please call 608-754-5405 AirFest Ofc or 608-295-6290 Ticket Director for assistance.
