Black Diamond Jet Team delivers thrilling air show excitement. The performance features a combination of precision formation acrobatics performed in our five arctic camouflage L-39s as well as high-speed, high performance maneuvers performed by our two opposing Mig-17 fighters. At times, all seven aircraft come together to demonstrate formation flying at its finest. Our pilots demonstrate unbelievable skill as they maneuver the aircraft only inches apart from each other. ARC SERIES RACING

The Aerobatic Racing Challenge Series (ARC Series) is an innovative racing exhibition format featuring pilots with high-performance aerobatic aircraft competing against each other on a vertical race course. As a featured Air Show event, pilots race through an aerobatic sequence in a side-by-side dual that challenges each pilot to fly the maneuvers as quickly as possible. The winner is the pilot that successfully completes the entire sequence of maneuvers first!

SKIP STEWART

Skip is an Aerobatic Champion, has won several Gold Medals in regional competition and has been awarded two Pitts Trophies! Competition Aerobatics is a great way to learn discipline and precision. But, while a great competition pilot can make the most difficult maneuver look easy, a great showman can make it look impossible.

DICK SCHULZ

Dick has been flying aerobatics since 1985 as both a Civilian and a U.S. Navy Pilot all over the world. After entering Advanced IAC competition events in 1990 with a highly modified Pitts S-1, he then began flying air shows in the early 90’s. She puts on an amazing solo Aerobatic performance in his Pitts S-2B the Raptor Pitts.

MIKE NICCUM

Mike’s dedication to competition aerobatics led to a coveted spot on the roster of the prestigious U.S. Advanced World Aerobatic Team. With the pinpoint accuracy of unlimited aerobatics, his style of high-energy and visually dynamic maneuvers instills a level of exhilaration and inspiration of the crowd in his Staudacher S-300D.

PYRO JET TRUCK

PYRO is a 1982 International Transtar 4300 powered by a Westinghouse J34-WE-48 Turbojet engine with afterburner from a T-2 Buckeye. The engine has a single spool, 11 stage axial flow compressor and a single stage axial flow turbine. The J34 produces 12,000 HP with 6,000 lbs of thrust. PYRO is capable of reaching speeds of over 300 mph, and burns 60 gallons of fuel per run! PYRO proves that the lack of aerodynamics can be offset with intense thrust.
